Unclonable Group Identification

چکیده
We introduce and motivate the concept of unclonable group identification, that provides maximal protection against sharing of identities while still protecting the anonymity of users. We prove that the notion can be realized from any one-way function and suggest a more efficient implementation based on specific assumptions.

متن کاملUnclonable identification and authentication based on reference list decoding
In this paper we advocate a new approach to item identification based on physical unclonable features. Being unique characteristics of an item, these features represent a kind of unstructured random codebook that links the identification problem to digital communications via composite hypothesis testing. Besides this, complexity, memory storage and universality constraints should be taken into ...
متن کاملmrPUF: A Memristive Device based Physical Unclonable Function
Physical unclonable functions (PUFs) exploit the intrinsic complexity and irreproducibility of physical systems to generate secret information. PUFs have the potential to provide fundamentally higher security than traditional cryptographic methods by preventing the cloning of identities and the extraction of secret keys. One unique and exciting opportunity is that of using the super-high inform...
متن کاملA Physical Unclonable Function Chip Exploiting Variation in SRAM Bitcells
We propose a chip identification (ID) generating scheme with random variation of transistor characteristics in SRAM bitcells. In the proposed scheme, a unique fingerprint is generated by grounding both bitlines. It has high speed, and it can be implemented in a very small area overhead. We fabricated test chips in a 65-nm process and obtained 12,288 sets of unique 128-bit fingerprints, which ar...
متن کاملRFID-Tags for Anti-counterfeiting
RFID-tags are becoming very popular tools for identification of products. As they have a small microchip on board, they offer functionality that can be used for security purposes. This chip functionality makes it possible to verify the authenticity of a product and hence to detect and prevent counterfeiting. In order to be successful for these security purposes too, RFID-tags have to be resista...
